  • 3 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons ground black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes

  • Combine onion and garlic in the bowl of a food processor; puree until finely minced.
