  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 ¼ tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • Break ground beef into small pieces in a large pot over medium heat; cook and stir until beginning to brown, 3 to 5 minutes.
