  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans great northern beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 package vegetable soup mix (such as Knorr's®)
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pinch Creole seasoning (such as Tony Chachere's®), or to taste
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

  • Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add kielbasa and onion; cook and stir until kielbasa is browned and onion is translucent, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove to a plate.
