  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup margarine
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 6 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 1 pound processed cheese, cubed

  • ground black pepper to taste

  • Saute the onions in butter or margarine in a large pan.
