  • 1 ½ teaspoons dried oregano
  • ¼ tablespoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 (25 ounce) containers white hominy, drained
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans black-eyed peas, drained
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup chopped cilantro
