  • 2 teaspoons salt, divided
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature, divided
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • 4 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese

  • 5 medium green onions, chopped
  • 4 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
