  • ½ cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
