Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 ¼ cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 (4 ounce) jars carrot baby food
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

  • Beat all ingredients except flour and nuts in a large bowl with mixer on medium speed until blended (mixture will look curdled).
