  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 3 bacon strips, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • ½ cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon pepper

  • Place brussels sprouts in a saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain and keep warm.
